DRUG RAID SUCCESS
A 33-year-old man and 37-year-old woman have been charged with a combined eight offences including possession and production of dangerous drugs, following a Taskforce Maxima drug raid at a Macleay Island house by the State's anti-bikie taskforce. Detectives raided a Coffea Street house and sized an estimated $10,000 worth of drugs including three cannabis plants, 600g of cannabis, steroids and drug equipment and ammunition.The 33-year-old man was arrested for the offences of producing a dangerous drug, possession of a dangerous drug, possession of restricted drug, possession of ammunition, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing police. The woman was issued with a notice to appear for possession of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. They will appear in Cleveland Magistrates Court next month.
