Have a yarn with spinners and weavers at open day
The Redlands Spinners and Weavers will hold its annual Open Day, on Tuesday, 20 June at the Redland Performing Arts Centre, Cleveland from 9am to 3pm.
Now in its 39th year, the Redlands Spinners and Weavers promote this as their highlight event. The day is for anyone interested in yarn and fibre or who has a hankering to learn how to spin or to people keen to simply have a look.
There will be a display and demonstration of antique spinning wheels plus yarn, fibre, handmade soaps, embroidered goods, stationery and pottery yarn bowls will be for sale. A fashion parade will be held to best display some of the works, with some available for sale.
