WOW! RADIO FBI IS A HIT!

Radio FBI is up, up and away, and what a hit it is proving to be.

Thank you to all the readers and listeners for your wonderful remarks of encouragement and support.

It has been surprising and a real delight!

What was really special was to receive a message from an islander travelling in Europe who was able to listen to our very special Friendly Bay Islands radio station whilst on their travels.

One of the goals of Radio FBI is to make the island community be part of it all.

We love the special messages by some of our readers doing our call signs.

Sonya Pope of Aunty Alice’s on Russell Island had the honour of being the first community call message on Radio FBI and didn’t she do a great job with her very enthusiastic effort.

The voices of Jenna Morgan and Deb Longland have provided the news and information that you will hear, provided by the resources of The Friendly Bay Islander.

In the coming weeks we will be coming along to an island shopping centre near you to record more island voices and to get your comments and thoughts.

Development of the radio station will continue over the coming months, making it better and more relevant.

The general comment so far is that islanders just love the music.

We thought you would!

Some, however, are not quite sure how to listen to Radio FBI
