Robyn Jessop, principal of LJ Hooker Macleay Island, has confirmed the major island real estate firm has acquired Raine & Horne on Macleay Island.
Robyn stated that Sandra and Grant Hutchison, the owners, had sold the real estate business for family reasons. They are looking forward to enjoying quality time as a family.
Sandra Hutchinson said: “Grant and I will miss the island community and the people we have met over the years, however, we are simply wanting to have our weekends with the family.
“Us selling to Robyn and LJ Hooker Macleay Island, was for both of us a perfect fit.
“We have done business with Robyn and her staff over the past few years and always found them to be professional and honest in their dealings.
“We know our clients will be well managed. The business will be in safe hands moving forward and well looked after we are sure.
“Grant and I would like to say a “big thank you” to all our valued clients as we have enjoyed many years working with the good people of Macleay Island. We wish them well.”
The Raine & Horne office will be closed shortly, and the business merged into the L J Hooker office.
