Now that our juniors soccer season has come to a close the iksalnd soccer club will still run a Fun Saturday morning till December from 9.30am. Our Russell Adults will still be in action against Macleay Sunday October 20th & November 24th. Lamb Island also running a 5-a-side where all three island teams are involved. EXCITEMENT BUILDS FOR THE SPRING FESTIVAL OF SMALL HALLS CONCERT ON SOUTHERN MORETON BAY ISLANDS
The Southern Moreton Bay Islands are set to come alive with music and community spirit as the Festival of Small Halls for the sixth time. Following a sold-out show on Russell Island as part of the Winter tour, the much-anticipated Spring Tour concert will be held at the Macleay Island Community Hall
on October 18, providing the perfect backdrop for an evening of exceptional entertainment and local camaraderie.
The Festival of Small Halls is renowned for its celebration of live music in intimate and unique settings.
Presented by veteran festival producers Woodfordia Inc., this beloved not-for-profit Spring Tour will feature a packed schedule of 20 shows across four weeks, travelling from Muttaburra right down to the NSW border, showcasing a diverse lineup of talented performers who are sure to captivate and entertain.

Kellie Loder is a Canadian musician from Newfoundland who is making her debut Australian tour, bringing her unique sound and heartfelt music to new audiences.
"I am beyond excited to bring my music to Australia for the first time in my career. I'm so very grateful that I'll be introduced to such a beautiful place being a part of one of the greatest festivals there is," Loder shared.
Van Dijk & Mcdonald is the much-loved Australian folk duo joining Kellie Loder on the tour, bringing a fresh set of tunes. Jan Van Dijk expressed his enthusiasm: "It’s thrilling to be back on the road filled with such rich memories of previous tours. It’s the stories from the locals from each town that stick with you the most afterwards.”
Local artist Paul Schreuder, is a Macleay Island resident who brings his own brand of music to the stage.
With 14 albums of original songs, Schreuder’s work reflects his experiences in social services and has earned him numerous accolades, including the APRA (Australasian Performance Rights Association) Silver Scroll for his song ‘You’ve Got Me Loving You’.
