ALL SET FOR MAY BOWL TOURNAMENT AT CLUB MACLEAY
The May Bowl at Club Macleay Island Bowls Club is set to be another outstanding success.
The popular annual event is to be held on the weekend of May 25 and 26.
Club manager, Luke Jobson, says the greens, and club, will again be packed for the popular competition.
All who have participated in recent times are full of praise for the May Bowl for the quality of the event and its brilliant waterside location, bowling green and club.
The May Bowl is going from success to success.
“And it will be the same again this year if the weather continues to be kind at this time of the year, “ Luke Jobson says.
“Not only is it a superb bowls competition, but it is also a marvellous advertisement for Macleay Island and our our Southern Moreton Bay islands as a whole.”
The $5000 prize money will again attract some of the best bowlers in Queensland.
Sixteen teams will go head-to-head for a prize pool of $5000.
