RUSSELL TUCKER

NOW COOKING SEVEN DAYS AT THE RUSSELL ISLAND RSL CLUB

Popular Island food truck business, Russell Tucker, is now cooking daily at the Russell Island RSL Club.

In a very clever move, the RSL Club has brought in James Thomson’s  Russell Tucker to provide great interim food services to the club and its members and guests.

He and his team are opening in the club car park seven days a week providing their excellent takeaway meals.

Members and guests can also use the club facilities for refreshments and eat inside the club as well.

All this is happening whilst the RSL Club has putting its ‘finishing touches’ to its internal catering arrangements to occur in the coming weeks.

The move is also advantageous to James Thomson who had previously had difficulty establishing a location of Russell Tucker, wanting to operate from his home address.

Council regulation stipulate that a food truck needs to be an appropriate open location, and the Russell Island RSL car park more than adequately fits the bill.

The business became a success almost at once.

“People like our affordable coffee and range of takeaway meals,” James told The Friendly Bay Islander.

And so say all of us!
