COMMON SENSE COVID TEST You will be pleased to know there is now a common sense Covid Test, that we recently found thanks to a friend who sent it to us. 1. Open a can of beer and try to smell it; 2. If you can smell the beer, drink it to see if you can taste i; 3. If you can taste it and smell it, this confirms you DON’T HAVE COVID! Last night I did the test 19 times and all were negative. Tonight I am going to do the test again because this morning I woke up with a headache and feeling like I’m coming down with something! I’m so nervous! ART UNION EXTENDED TO EASTER The Art Union for an MG car and other prizes has been extended to Easter. This change of the draw from Australia Day to Easter came about because of the shock closure of the Russell Island RSL Club. The Art Union draw will now be held on EASTER Monday, April 18, 2022 after receiving Licencing and Gaming as well as Queensland Health Department advice. We have been advised by Kevin Kelly that the Day will be held at the RSL and will comprise art and craft markets in the morning, BBQ Lunch and entertainment by Father and Son Duo; ‘The Hitmen’ playing until 5.30pm. The Draw will be taking place around 3pm by MP Kim Richards. After the ODE at 6pm for the stayers. Karaoke will entertain till close. Hopefully the club will have re-opened by then. Tickets are $10 each are in books of Ten. Tickets may be emailed or delivered. For tickets or information ring Kevin Kelly mobile; 0433 657 787; email: thingsbykk@gmail.com
