VACCINES NOW AVAILABLE

ALL THREE COVID VACCINES NOW AVAILABLE ON OUR ISLANDS All three Covid vaccines are now available on our islands. The Moderna vaccine has now been added to the AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines, offering a much greater range of choice. Member for Redlands, Kim Richards, says the islands have never had a ‘better opportunity’ to get vaccinated. She says in her column in this edition: “Our island community has done a great job in rolling up their sleeves to get vaccinated. “Just over 60% having receiving their first jab”. The Member for Redlands added: “But now is not the time to be complacent; we need more islanders to get vaccinated. “Our pharmacists on both Macleay and Russell Islands are offering vaccination, including Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Moderna, depending on location. Just check out the listing below: “So can I please urge all in our island communities to get vaccinated. “We need to ensure we protect our unique island communities. “Can I also thank everyone for doing the right thing when it comes to wearing masks, especially while travelling on our ferries”, Kim Richards said.
